By downloading, installing, or using the ScanSay application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Service Description

ScanSay is an AI-powered document analysis tool that helps users understand official documents such as letters from government agencies, medical bills, insurance documents, and other official correspondence. The app provides informational analysis and suggested action steps. ScanSay does NOT provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

3. User Accounts

ScanSay creates an anonymous account automatically when you first use the app. No personal registration is required. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

ScanSay offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Free users receive a limited number of document scans per month.
• ScanSay Pro subscriptions provide unlimited scans and additional features.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ScanSay for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service.

6. Intellectual Property

ScanSay and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ScanSay and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your uploaded documents remain your property.

7. Disclaimer

ScanSay provides AI-generated informational analysis of documents. This analysis is NOT legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or any other form of professional counsel. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the analysis provided.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanSay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated analysis.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to ScanSay at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of ScanSay after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
